1. Elevated Moisture Sensitivity
Wood particle content increases hygroscopic properties, creating enhanced moisture sensitivity. Pre-print drying essential for optimal quality and uniform finish.
Storage and Moisture Control: Despite factory drying and vacuum packaging, transportation environmental conditions may affect moisture content. Immediate post-opening drying mandatory with sealed desiccant storage or AMS containment. Execute repeated drying cycles before extended storage periods.
Drying Protocol: Optimal results achieved at 55±5°C for 8 hours (blast oven) or 65-75°C for 12 hours (X1 chamber). Reference detailed drying documentation.
2. Chromatic Variation
Natural wood particle composition may generate slight color variation dependent on moisture content levels and raw material batch differences.
3. Aromatic Emissions
